EARS Northeast Region
Barb is a state and federally licensed Class II wildlife rehabilitator; holds a nuisance wildlife license; is certified for chemical immobilization, oil spill training and rabies vector species; and is a New York State Wildlife Rehabilitation Council board member. She earned a bachelor's degree from St. John Fisher College and was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities and was honored with St. John Fisher’s Outstanding Adult Student Award in 2002. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in adult/public education with a minor in biological sciences at Buffalo State College and has a public relations and marketing internship at the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, New York.
